NIKE and Jacquemus reunite for another collaboration, this time merging Simon Porte Jacquemus’ adoration of Parisian culture with his love of Nike’s sports references in celebration of the Olympic Games Paris 2024, set to embark this July.

Inspired by Parisian culture and Nike’s catalogue of athletes, the new collection sees a fusion of sport and style modelled in a new campaign and short film.

A reimagination of men’s and women’s sportswear, the collection comprises ten lifestyle silhouettes, including tracksuits, t-shirts, bras and long skirts.

As for shoes, the Nike x Jacquemus Air Max 1 presents the esteemed shoe with a cubist Air unit and a characteristically Jacquemus flair, while the Le Swoosh bag features in three colour ways, including red and black.

“This collection is born from the inspiration I find every day in Paris and in Nike’s athletes and the sports references I have always loved, I see the collection as a mix of sport, fashion and culture in the most beautiful city in the world, where Nike athletes will take centre stage this summer.” — Simon Porte Jacquemus

The two brands embarked on their longstanding partnership in 2022 with a collaboration that saw elevated athletic ready-to-wear pieces. 2023 brought on the J Force 1 sneaker, followed by the Spring 2024 collection, where the Le Swoosh bag debuted.

The latest collection’s colour palette comprises red, white, blue and silver, nodding to the French Maison’s heritage. Jacquemus’ roots further inspire a short film titled J’aime Paris featuring esteemed names such as Serena Williams, Juliette Binoche, Central Cee and Lila Moss.

Jacquemus speaks on the film, expressing that its inspiration derives from the romantic and artistic nature of the French capital and his adoration for its vibrancy. With an influential cast, the film brings together Jacquemus’ icons and portrays diverse talents representative of French culture.
